The Russian mass media published shocking news: in the Ukrainian-controlled part of the Kherson region, just in a military hospital, doctors allegedly cut out the internal organs of dead soldiers of the Armed Forces for further sale.According to propaganda media and Russian security forces, after the so-called procedure, the bodies of soldiers are burned in crematoriums.Relatives of the dead allegedly receive certificates of disappearance.
TRYBUN analyzed another fake news spread by Russian propaganda.
"After communication with my contact working at the medical staff of the military hospital in Kherson, it was established that there were employees of the Disaster Medicine in the medical institution, who controled the admission of seriously wounded and dead military personnel in order to remove the necessary internal organs".
Russian propaganda has been publishing such news almost since the beginning of the war.At the end of last year, the Russian mass media reported that black transplant specialists were working in Ukraine.
In the autumn of last year, the Russians wrote about the fact that, perhaps, a whole concern for the supply of internal organs to Europe appeared in Ukraine. They made this conclusion because the cost of donor material greatly reduced in Germany.
Allegedly, Ukrainian prisoners told Russian media about mysterious ambulances on the demarcation line.According to the "Ukrainian prisoner", these cars took only lightly wounded people, and the doctors did not tell to which hospital they would be taken.
"Ukrainian prisoners said that some strange medical ambulances appeared on demarcation line. According to a strange logic, they left the seriously wounded, but took away the lightly wounded and young people.Moreover, when these doctors were asked to which hospital they were taking the soldier, they did not answer."
The article says that doctors take all possible organs and even the cornea of the eye.
"When bodies are gutted, everything is taken: liver, kidneys, heart, up to the cornea of the eyes.Remains are simply burned in the crematorium - and there are no traces.
Organs are loaded into private planes that fly to Germany.There, containers are taken to hospitals by car. It is a very big business".
Ukrainian doctors refute these fakes.
According to Vasyl Strilka, director of the Directorate of High-Tech Medical Care and Innovations of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, black transplantology is impossible in Ukraine during wartime.
He noted that, in addition, the system of organ donation is as transparent as possible in civilized countries of the world, in particular in Ukraine.The process of transplantology is difficult and it consists of many stages. Any organs are not suitable.
"The blood group and organ sizes must match - you cannot transplant the heart of a person weighing 40 kg to a person weighing 90 kg. This heart just won't be able to pump that much blood. If the organ is suitable for someone, the transplant center is informed about it, and the transplant center informs the recipient, who must arrive there at the appointed time."
It will definitely not work to do it quietly and imperceptibly.In addition, one or several doctors to will not perform such an operation.More than one and a half hundred doctors should be involved in the operation.
"A lot of people are involved in the operation process.No more than two hours should pass from the moment of organ removal to the moment of transplantation, so that the organ remains usable.Today transplantation on the territory of Ukraine has become more difficult due to the closure of the airspace, so the geographical range of the search for donors has become very narrow.In addition, dozens of people are involved in this process, it cannot be carried out secretly."
Time also plays an important role.Organs for transplantation are stored for a short time.For example, the liver - up to 12 hours, the kidneys - up to 36, and the heart must be transplanted within 4 hours.The founder of the NGO "All-Ukrainian Donation Platform iDonor" Iryna Zaslavets told about it. She notes that the organ cannot be cut out, frozen, and only then transplanted into the recipient.
"Donor hearts, kidneys and livers are not cigarettes that can be smuggled.In India, for example, ambulances transporting donor hearts are accompanied not only by police cars, but also by military personnel who stand on the perimeter of the vehicle's movement.Up to half a thousand people can be involved in one such transportation."
Transplantation is not so simple. But for the Russian mass media, anything is possible, just to distort and put Ukraine in a bad light.
