In occupied Sievierodonetsk, infrastructure, housing stock and roads are being "reconstructed". Russian "professionals" from various regions of Russia, in particular, from the Perm region, are engaged in large-scale repair works. However, the locals are not satisfied with the result, and some have not waited for the changes yet.
TRYBUN journalist found out how the process of "reconstruction" continues in the city, that has been repaired, what feedback the residents of Sievierodonetsk share about the "executed" works.
"Reconstruction" of the housing stock: statements of the occupants and reviews of the locals
The occupation authorities of Sievierodonetsk report that active repair works are being carried out in the city to restore dwellings. The works are carried out by "professionals" of the public-law company "Yediny zakazchik v sfere striotelstva (A single customer in the construction industry)".
Allegedly the builders "repair, clean, strengthen and partially rebuild even those houses that at first sight seemed hopeless".
The same company plans to restore 430 apartment blocks in Sieveirodonetsk, Lysychansk, and Rubizhne by the end of 2024.
The Perm region, which took Sievierodonetsk in tow, is also participating in the "reconstruction". For workers from the Russian region, this is "earnings" or even the opportunity to change their place of residence.
The enemy resource "LuhanskInformCenter" writes that since the beginning of the year, the region of the Russian Federation has restored 4 apartment blocks, and also plans "4 heating facilities and 9 multi-apartment blocks."
Perm region provides Sievierodonetsk not only with construction workers but also with equipment to repair utility networks. For example, a truck with sludge removal and canal washing equipment was brought in.
According to the occupiers, it is intended "for the preventive sanitary cleaning of wells and pipelines of the city's storm water drain from silt, dredging pumps and other pollutants, as well as the elimination of emergency blockages in them. Also, silt suction equipment is used for cleaning wells and cesspools of sewage treatment plants."
In this way, Russians demonstrate the "improvement" of life in the city and are proud of the achieved results, declaring that "it is nice to see firsthand how Sievierodonetsk is being restored and to know that it is a daily process with concrete results." And every resident of our city can see these results."
However, the locals do not agree with the occupation authorities. Dissatisfied and openly write in the comments how the "repair" works are actually taking place.
Meanwhile, the occupiers are showing the progress of repair work in various districts of Sievierodonetsk. Near the houses are raised structures, building materials, in particular, boards and cement, new windows, dug up places.
Residents have many questions regarding both the reconstruction of dwellings and the restoration of other facilities and communications necessary for living.

The renovation of roads in Sievierodonetsk: results and complaints
Roads are a "painful" issue for many cities. In occupied Sievierodonetsk, this is also one of the demonstrative processes in the "reconstruction".
The occupation authorities emphasize that road rehabilitation continues in the city every day, even on weekends. This year, it is planned to renovate 12,950 m².
Currently, it is reported that "they are fully or partially held at the following addresses: Bohdana Lyshchyny Street, Stroiteley Highway, Sovetskyi Avenue, Gagarina Street, Gvardeisky Avenue, Khimikov Avenue, Egorova Street, and Lomonosov Street."
