Luhansk is a city that has been under Russian occupation for 9 years. The invaders are constantly trying to convince people that the “Russian peace” has made this city better. What methods do they use for this? No, they do not support the people financially or modernize Luhansk, but use well-prepared propaganda, as usual for the Kremlin.
Is it possible to say that this propaganda is effective? Yes. 8 years of occupation. In February 2022, hundreds of people from Luhansk, on Putin's order, went to “protect” their native Ukrainians from “NATO bases”, “homosexuals” and “America”.
So what is happening in Luhansk now? TRYBUN reviewed and analyzed the Russian fakes.
After monitoring Russian resources, we saw a fairly obvious picture of covering events in the city:
”To convey how our city has changed, any words will be superfluous – you need to see and feel it… After all, Luhansk seems to be a great part of Russia”.

Until 2014, Luhansk was known as a city of industry, a university, and a powerful scientific center.

It is impossible to watch, and it is useless to collect at this stage, too much garbage has accumulated. However, we also pay for the removal of solid waste. Other streets in the Cambrod raion of the city are clean. And we have this situation! And up the street you can see the sacks hanging. Photo 08/09/2023”.
“For more than 3 weeks, water has been flowing along Ulyanova Street in the village of Bolshaya Vergunka, from the post office and beyond. Administration, take action on this problem,” Viacheslav writes.
The worst thing is death. The Russians, having mobilized the residents of Luhansk into the army of the so-called “LPR”, sent them to the front line as “meat”. Nevertheless, the Russian occupiers manage to kill the residents of Luhansk right in the central streets of the city. The Russians do not disclose the statistics of road accidents involving the Russian military. According to the locals, the occupiers' military equipment was involved in most of the accidents.
